CharacterTowns.org enjoyed an interview with Professor Mann on PBS as he was explaining the balance needed in the rhetoric surrounding climate change. Too much gloom and doom squelches peoples’ interest in problem solving since they feel it is of no use. The deniers do not need much squelching since they did not believe it anyway. A balanced approach based on science and actionable steps gives people agency to stay involved in the issue.
